I shot this video when I went to Costa Rica for a service-learning trip while in college at Hampton University. The goal for this video was just to document my travels and highlight the culture in Costa Rica, with an emphasis on the food, people, and sights.
The trip was a life-changing experience for me. As I reflect on my service learning trip, I've not only grown as a leader but as a person who genuinely loves to serve. The ticos in CR taught me to cherish everything that I've been exposed to for the past 25 years...that you can find something positive in every situation, not take things for granted, and of course.
